10 Tips For Traveling Safe

Saving the World, One Patient at a Time

In 2003 I achieved my goal in my love of EMS. Unfortunately it was at a time where I couldn’t focus on it. I was a Youth Care Councilor and a Wilderness Guide. I took a Job for my County Fire Department and for 3 years loved being able to help those who couldn’t help themselves. Both Physically and Mentally. I ended up leaving both fields and moving several times. I lost a wife and a family to divorce. Discovered a career and a best friend in the oddest of places and then found my way back to EMS in 2019. I worked through the world pandemic in 2020 and then the slow painful aftermath and crippling failure of the EMS system in 2021. At the end of that year, AMR and I decided we no longer wished to see one another and parted ways to see other options. I started working as a Ski Patroller 2 and in that same fall got my Advanced EMT License and Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals. As well as also achieving my K-9 Medic Certification as well.

The Story So Far…

This isn’t all Nature and Tales of my dog doing doofy stuff. I am a strong advocate of mental health and the steps it takes to take care of yourself and those you love. So expect some of these stories to be hard and some to be fun. Some to be difficult and some to be pure pleasure.
